Everyone interested in birds is welcome to join Birdlife Estonia!

Knowledge of birds is not essential: if you share our values you can support the conservation of birds just as a member. A full member must be at least sixteen years old, for young explorers we offer the status of junior membership.

Fill in the membership application and send it to Birdlife Estonia by email eoy@eoy.ee or by postal service (Eesti Ornitoloogiaühing, Veski 4, 51005 Tartu, Estonia).

We will contact you when we have received your application.

For members of BirdLife Estonia we offer:

• free weekly e-newsletter (in Estonian) where upcoming events are being promoted,
• free quarterly journal Tiirutaja (in Estonian) which is targeted at a wider audience to raise awareness of birds, their ecology, behaviour and promote events,
• scientific bird journal Hirundo (in Estonian, with English summary) where recent results in Estonian bird ecology and ornithology are being published.

Membership fees 2019 

Full fee: 20 EUR
Pensioners and members up to 18-year-old: 10 EUR
Family fee: 35 EUR (2 adults or at least 1 adult and 2 juveniles)

All memberships are for a calendar year.

We will send you information about payment after you are accepted as a member.

A family (multiple members) gets one copy of all printed materials. We suggest paying fees at the beginning of the year to enjoy all the membership benefits.
